Default best underwater cam around?

recommendations anyone? Nothing too e*pensive though (other than the Point and Shoot cams from o/lympus)

I can't make any suggestions since I don't really take pictures underwater. But if you'd like the "best", you'll really have to spend for it.

EDIT: Darned filter. First censor is for "c a m e r a", second is "p h o t o".

The Intova IC-700 is great and not too e*pensive. I've used it and personally recommend it.

I don't know if it's coincidence or just good luck, but my uncle would share half of the fee for this particular place in Bora Bora. So I guess my girlfriend and I will be diving somewhere...and that calls for *drumroll* an underwater ******! I guess I'll check bea's recommendation as well as other suggestions when I get them.

EDIT: Filter is annoying. It converts ****** to *s and even the letter before Y (in the alphabet).
